๐ Focus on the trendline, not the headlines in CDR
๐ฃ๏ธ Gave this short speech at a dinner at Zurich Climate Week and I thought you might all enjoy it. ๐ Bold statement: 2026 is going to be - by far - the best year for CDR policy yet. ๐๏ธ There are dozens of people in government working full time on CDR. Hundreds part-time. Thousands who are aware of CDR and support it. ๐จ๐ญ If you want to hear a concrete example check out the CDR Policy Scoop on inter-governmental CDR transactions that Eve Tamme and I recorded at Zurich Clim

๐ฐ More than ever: Letโs keep the finance rolling into carbon removal
๐ No, this is not another post on Microsoft. Instead, a suggestion: How about turning the page and focusing on what matters most now - ensuring continued purchases of and finance for CDR. ๐ธ One thing is obvious: we need to ensure that capital continues to flow into the CDR space. ๐ค If we were only able to gather them all in one place sometime soonโฆ ๐จ๐ญ Welcome to Zurich, one of the world's great financial hubs, which decided to host its first ever Climate Week from the
