😮 60,000 people have now watched "The Power of Biochar" 😮

🎬 Picture this: Diego Justiniano and I are shooting a scene in the Amazon: it is loud, it is noisy, it is hot, it is humid, and thousands of insects/mosquitos are hovering around us.

🪨 Yet there is no better place to tell the story of this black gold called biochar.

💚 In my wildest dreams I would never have imagined that this short-film would be seen by so many people. What makes me particularly happy? Over 45,000 of these views came through Youtube recommendations, so people who might be outside of our CDR bubble.

🙏 Thank you to everyone who watched, shared, and reached out. Over the last eight months, you've helped tell one of carbon removal's most powerful stories to a global audience.

💪 Exomad Green's project in the Bolivian Amazon - by far the biggest in the world, delivering over 25% of ALL CDR to date - is proof that carbon removal done right isn't just purely about removing CO2 from the atmosphere. It's about cleaner rivers. Productive land. Real livelihoods.

👏 And big kudos to the whole Exomad Green team for their pioneering work, and in particular Diego JustinianoFrancesco GuglielmiMarcelo Pereira Holters, and Bart Collier, as well as the Tree Media team around Mathew Schmid and Leila Conners for making this happen.

⁉️ If you have seen it, I would love to hear from you: what did you enjoy? Should we do more of these in the future?
