💙 Back from Carbonfuture team days and excited for what's to come.

🧒 I love working from home. For being able to be part of my daughter’s daily life from the little things to the big milestones. For being able to call three different countries my home.

💻 But there are its drawbacks. Despite really intentional processes that make remote work possible and effective, there are some things that just can’t be replicated by seeing your colleagues on a tiled screen.

🌲That’s why I really look forward and get excited about the biyearly Carbonfuture Team Days, this time bringing together its now more than 50 employees in the picturesque German town of Königstein im Taunus.

🥣 This was my 8th and it delivered: a hilarious pub-quiz, delicious food, plenty of (for me, non-alcoholic) drinks, and - most importantly - several days of discussing and aligning behind a winning strategy.

What really stood out to me: Carbonfuture is a real trend setter, investing hard into niche [at the time] niche topics, which then become mainstream within 1-2 years:

1️⃣ It went all in on biochar way before it became hot

2️⃣ It pushed on tracking and MRV before this three word acronym became sexy

3️⃣ It expanded to carbon removals market infrastructure years ago

🤩 And, now, it’s going all in on turning CDR into a tradeable, financeable asset class. I expect this time will be no different and fundamentally believe no team in the world is set up better to realise this vision than Carbonfuture.

👀 If this sounds interesting to you, be sure to keep track of vacancies at the Carbonfuture Careers Page: https://lnkd.in/dFXc_uDa - we are always looking for great talent.

📣 Big shout-out to the founders Hannes Junginger and Matthias Ansorge for your vision and for building such an awesome place to work.

👷 The road ahead is exciting and clear. Time to build.
