🎉 Happy Carbon Removal Day - How are you celebrating?

ree

🗓️ Did you know that October 3rd is *the* day in which we celebrate CDR around the world? Launched in 2024 and now in its second year, CDR Day is an opportunity to get everyone – but particularly those outside our own “CDR bubble” – to learn more about the vital role CDR plays in reversing the effects of climate change.

⚠️ You don’t necessarily need to work in CDR to have an impact on the planet. There are things all of us can do, today, to help remove carbon from the atmosphere. One is to simply like and share this post.

💚 Another super easy, fun, and thoughtful way is sending a Thanks a Ton card to someone. Starting at $5, you can purchase a small amount of CDR within 2 clicks. This way, you can actively help finance CDR and spread the word about it at the same time!

💚 So to celebrate today, I have sent my THANKS A TON cards to some people I admire for their dedication to CDR in varied ways:

🦸 Martin Freimüller, AKA DACman for driving direct air capture (hashtag#DAC) in the Global South and a formidable opponent in the first @CDR policy scoop SHOWDOWN.

🤘 Dr. Maria-Elena Vorrath for being a total ROCK star bringing a level of cool to some very technical nerdy stuff.

🧙 Tank Chen for the data wizard he is. No one in CDR sees and analyses more market data than him.

💌 So go ahead and send a few of your personal notes of appreciation that actually help the planet through Thanks a Ton: https://lnkd.in/dKkbDvXj

🤑 Want to directly purchase verified CDR quickly and transparently? The best way to offset your personal emissions and support the CDR industry is to buy durable CDR certificates today. Check out https://www.cdr-shops.com/ for an overview of all shops.

🌍 We need to scale CDR thousands of time, as soon as possible. Take action, and spread the word today.

📣 Shoutout to Jack Sullivan and TITO JANKOWSKI - AIRMINER Jankowski for spearheading CDR Day. Let’s continue to spread the word.
