✍️ Semantics, you might say. Not really. There are huge differences and getting this wrong can end up being very costly, to everyone involved.
⚖️ Lisa (Elisabeth) DeMarco is one of the legal architects of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. She helped governments draft the rules we all talk about today.
🎙️ It was thus a huge pleasure to sit down with her in our latest CDR Policy Scoop to ask her all our questions - and there were many.
🇪🇺 Looking at the EU - which tends to be a bit ahead of the curve on these things - we can see that the trade of international carbon credits through Article 6 is only going to increase. We could be looking at hundreds of megatons or even gigatons in the 2030s globally.
👉 In this episode, you will learn what the key tools are, how they are used (and how they shouldn’t), and what governments and CDR suppliers can do today to accelerate the process.
🤓 If you learn half as much as I did from Lisa, I promise you it will be worth your time:
