🪨 The Minister of Environment going all in on biochar.
🇹🇼 Imagine if the European Union announced a 20Mt/year target by 2030 for biochar carbon removal alone? That is exactly what Minister ChiMing Peng of Taiwan just did. 🎯 His bold vision: Taiwan is to produce 1Mt of removals through biochar per year by 2030. 💪 Remember, Taiwan is a country of 23 million people with very limited biochar production at present, which makes this even more remarkable.
