š² On December 4th, CRIA launches a report at #COP28 spotlighting India's potential in CDR suggesting that India could contribute 10-30% of the world's CDR needs which the IPCC projects at 4.7 to 9.8 gigatons annually by 2050.
š¾ The report highlights how the CDR sector in India can revolutionize agriculture and create vast employment opportunities. With technologies like biochar carbon removal (#CDR) or enhanced weathering (#EW), the benefits include improved soil quality, increased agricultural yields, and better food security.
š Join the virtual COP28 event on December 4th at 3.30pm GMT+4 to learn more about India's potential in leading sustainable carbon management as detailed in CRIA's report - link in comments.
š Shout out to Tom Mills, Shreya Sharma, and Srishti Singh at CRIA for their amazing work in getting this organisation off the ground and report published.
