😲 On December 4th, CRIA launches a report at #COP28 spotlighting India's potential in CDR suggesting that India could contribute 10-30% of the world's CDR needs which the IPCC projects at 4.7 to 9.8 gigatons annually by 2050.
🌾 The report highlights how the CDR sector in India can revolutionize agriculture and create vast employment opportunities. With technologies like biochar carbon removal (#CDR) or enhanced weathering (#EW), the benefits include improved soil quality, increased agricultural yields, and better food security.
