š It's out - finally. My feed has been blowing up with great analyses (see comments). What is your take? Which of the three suggested options do you support:
1ļøā£ Option 1 (requirement): Companies are required to set near- and long-term removal targets, including interim CDR milestones,¹ to address projected residual emissions.
2ļøā£ Option 2 (optional with recognition): Companies can set and receive recognition for removal targets to address projected residual emissions.
3ļøā£ Option 3 (flexibility of mechanism): Companies have the flexibility to address expected residual emissions either entirely through additional emissions reductions within their value chain, entirely through removals, or via a combination of both.
4ļøā£ None of them - let us know why.
š Make sure to join Robert Hƶglund and Eve Tamme tomorrow, Thursday 20th of March at 11.30am CET for a CDR Policy Scoop on this topic: https://lnkd.in/dbfuN5if
šŖ Exciting times for CDR, and lots of work to get done.
