😮 See it to believe it! 😮

🌍 Carbon dioxide removal is not a future phantasy. It is here today. There are hundreds of companies all around the world removing CO2 from the atmosphere day in, day out.

🇩🇪 This Thursday and Friday, I will be joining 60+ German politicians, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and scientists as part of Deutscher Verband für negative Emissionen e.V. (DVNE)'s CDR Experience Tour 2025.

💚 Travelling together by bus through the West of Germany, we will be visiting CDR projects across the whole spectrum: afforestation (VIVO Carbon gemeinnützige GmbH), enhanced rock weathering (ZeroEx), biochar carbon removal (Pyreg), BECCS (RWE & Air Liquide), and DACCS (Greenlyte Carbon Technologies).

🎙️ I will be taking you along on this Tour, shooting videos, writing posts, and even recording a special episode for the CDR Policy Scoop.

🙏 This project - the first of its kind? - has been a long time in the making. A big shout-out to remove and Marian Krueger for teaming up on this, and Stiftung Mercator GmbH for making this happen. And, of course, the incredible team at the DVNE who put this all together: Stefan Schlosser, Olivia Brauner, Philipp Rupp, and Nadine Saken-Walsh.
