💬 In November, the wonderful Eve Tamme and I decided to team up to deliver timely, in-depth, punchy coverage of key policy development in CDR. The CDR Policy Scoop was born.
😱 We were having these chats with each other anyway, so we decided to just let you all tune in via livestream here on LinkedIn. Clearly, we were onto something: our first five Lives reached over 12,000 people.
🎙️ So in January, we decided to turn these conversations into a podcast. Within just six months, we’ve had over 5,000 downloads.
🎧 Now with over 20 episodes, we’ve covered a wide range of topics and featured some incredible guests along the way. Here are the three most popular episodes so far:
1️⃣ We hosted a first-of-its-kind debate, the SHOWDOWN: Biochar vs Direct Air Capture featuring Martin Freimüller.
2️⃣ A guest so good we’ve already had him twice. Robert Höglund returned to chat to us about SBTI: Step forward or missed opportunity?
3️⃣ Amidst all the craziness and uncertainty with DOGE, we sat down with the one and only Noah Deich to ask: CDR at DoE is dead – or is it?
📣 Huge shout out to Ben Weaver-Hincks and Helen Lundebye for all the hard work in the background to make the CDR Policy Scoop the high-quality product it is.
💚 And thanks to all our listeners, guests, and supporters. If you’re passionate about CDR, whether you’re a policy aficionado, or just looking to learn more about this carbon removal stuff — give us a listen and let us know what you think.
