Today is tough to swallow.

📉 I’m sure you’ll have seen the numbers and graphs circulating estimating today’s result could add 4 billion tonnes of emissions by 2030 and up to 25 billion by 2050. Meanwhile, we are desperately working on scaling carbon removal to a million tonnes.

💔 These numbers are beyond demotivating, paralysing, and terrifying. They mean unimaginable amounts of climate-change induced human suffering.

⏩ Today, this feels like an insurmountable task. But tomorrow, we have to get back to work. Let’s channel our anger and frustration into positive change. 

🦸 The one glimmer of hope I have today is that this setback will push the next wave of brilliant people into the fight against climate change.
