☀️ Our family's 70-year-old business in the Dolomites finally runs on solar. Our new system will produce over 500 MWh of clean electricity over its lifetime using 20kW of panels, backed by a 25kW battery in the cellar and an EV charger in the garden.

⚡ Italy already gets 17% of its electricity from solar, with rooftop the fastest-growing segment, thanks to good national subsidies and permitting frameworks.

🧑‍⚖️ However, my local authorities did not make it easy. In order to build, it took a lawyer, real pressure, and a near-miss with a court case. 

🤦🏻 We should all do our part, but individuals shouldn't have to fight the system to do it.
